Production, which has its own high-end brand and lines in alliance with high-fashion and ready-to-wear designers and maisons, is full-cycle: from the leather tanning stage to the dyeing stage to the final processing of the gloves.
Quality craftsmanship is combined with that of materials and creativity of design.
OUR HISTORY
The history of the Mario Portolano brand originated in 1895, with Fortunato, Mario's grandfather, who founded the leather glove factory. His eldest son Alberto, always open to new initiatives, developed the glove factory and founded the tannery and leather dyehouse. His son Mario continues with passion and enthusiasm on the road thus traced.
